Builders & New Construction

Each Graythorne home is defined by the highest standard of design, quality craftsmanship,

appealing aesthetic interest, and harmony with the nature that makes Graythorne unlike anywhere else.

Property owners have the option to design their custom dream home with the builder of their choice. Property owners are asked to submit information regarding their proposed builder and proposed home design for review and approval by Graythorne’s Architectural Review Committee. You'll find a link to our Architectural Guidelines, below. Approval of proposed builders and home designs is contingent on their alignment with the values and intended character of Graythorne. 

For many however, the process of designing a home from the ground up and finding the right builder to bring it to life can be overwhelming. Our intention is not only to simplify this process for our property owners, but to make it stress-free and enjoyable.

We are proud to partner with a select group of the region’s most respected builders to offer a wide variety of breathtaking proposed construction options. Our preferred builders are chosen because their work exemplifies the quality craftsmanship, architectural character, and visual appeal that define a Graythorne home. Lowell's downtown is well-known for its antique and specialty shops housed in the original circa 1890 buildings. There are also numerous casual and fine dining restaurants. This small, beautiful town features Buckley Homestead, a living history farm that offers seasonal tours as well as annual festivals for the whole family.
